We produced and directed eight short-form films for the launch of IKEA’s second-hand marketplace. The idea was simple: when a piece of furniture no longer fits your home, it could be the perfect fit for someone else’s. The films explore that moment of moving on, sending familiar pieces off to new homes and new beginnings.
Six fun days on set with a great team, carefully planned match cuts and one surprisingly tricky task: making sure the furniture didn’t move. Getting those transitions right meant keeping every piece exactly in place between shots.
